Xi Jiu Hanmi

Xi Jiu Hanmi is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor. The bottle uses an octagonal structure instead of the common round bottle. The Pompadour Packaging

The Pompadour

The Pompadour is a fragrance packaging design inspired by the classic English barbershop. The outer box uses a checkered pattern drawn from barbershop floors, and the leather box opens in a way that recalls sitting in a barber chair. The bottle is a clear glass cylinder with vertical grooves, and a red, white and blue helix rotates as the bottle is unscrewed. A printed sheet in a serif font presents product information in the style of an old newspaper. The bottle holds a refillable capsule, and the outer packaging is made of recyclable materials.

Gujinggongjiu Liquor Packaging

Gujinggongjiu

Gujinggongjiu is a packaging design created for a Chinese liquor. The design presents the traditional dragon totem in a digital visual style. The heavy lines and complex curves of the classic dragon form are simplified into a modern shape. The box opens from the left and right sides, revealing the pattern in several layers. Luminous ink printing is applied, so the dragon pattern remains visible in a dark environment. The package measures 150 mm in width, 110 mm in depth and 280 mm in height. The intent is a fresh visual experience and a younger brand image.

The packaging carries a tea leaf shaped icon with a granular texture, which refers to the extraction of the essence from large Pu'er leaves.
