Quirky Louise
This pop-up book introduces four unique living habits of the designer. When it is open, the book stands up and forms four cubic zones. Each zone represents a room in the designer's apartment, such as the bathroom, living room and home office where these habits typically take place. Illustrations on the left side identify the rooms, while statistics and diagrams on the right show relevant facts and possible influence caused by certain habits.
Quirky Louise Book by Yunzi Liu has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Quirky Louise Book received the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which recognizes excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
