Mexuar
Andaluz Skincare is a secondary packaging design for an organic skincare line based in Andalusia, Spain. The packaging consists of cardboard cylinders with removable lids that hold glass bottles. The patterns are inspired by the ceramic tiles of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. Polygonal tile motifs are reinterpreted in a modern layout with colors drawn from the local geology. The 600 gram cardboard protects the bottles during shipping, encloses brochure material and shields the ingredients from light and heat.
Mexuar Skincare Product Packaging by Jason Bourguinon and Rebekah Pantaléon was featured as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Mexuar Skincare Product Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
