Carimbo
A stamp to identify its owner and his work and take it everywhere. At first, the intention was to find a way of approaching the offline world. Something like a business card, only classier, cheaper and environment friendly. So a stamp (carimbo) was the choice. A signature. Its inner part represents Igor's confusing and beautiful creative process, while the round frame wraps it up in fluidity and gives it purpose. These two combined build a texture the ink can flow through, providing the perfect support to his personal brand. At last, Minion Pro gracefully writes the contact information.
Carimbo Stamp by Igor Pinheiro has been selected as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Carimbo Stamp was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
