ASH2O
Ash2o is a packaging design for premium mineral water. The bottle holds water from Heavenly Lake in the Tianshan Mountains of Xinjiang, China. The silhouette follows the profile of the mountain range, and faceted geometric surfaces recall the form of the peaks. The body is made of glass and the cap is made of frosted plastic. The triangular shape gives a distinct grip when the bottle is opened, held and used. A multi-slide mold system was developed to shape the complex angled surfaces. The bottle can be reused after the water is consumed.
ASH2O Mineral Water Packaging by Cheng Tian Sheng has been selected as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. ASH2O Mineral Water Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
