Chateau Loulan
Chateau Loulan is a packaging design for a low-alcohol semi-sweet white wine produced in China. The label is made of metal with partial coloring and a frosted finish, and it depicts the legendary figure known as the Loulan Beauty. Openwork inspired by the flying white technique of Chinese calligraphy forms a semi-transparent window that reveals the color of the wine inside. Calligraphic strokes at the base of the bottle recall the desert landscape of the winery. The bottle measures 76 by 76 by 300 millimeters.
Chateau Loulan Packaging by Wen Liu has been identified as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Chateau Loulan Packaging won the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that honors excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
