Yancha
Yancha is a packaging design created for a tea intended to support lung health. The packaging follows a minimalist approach and has a calm, graceful appearance. White line wash painting is used to give an oriental character, and the layout draws on the format of ancient scrolls. The graphics illustrate the twelve traditional manual tea-making processes. The box measures 357 by 168 by 80 millimeters. The design connects a century-old traditional formula with modern production and presents the product clearly to consumers.
Yancha Packaging by BINGO CONSULT has been selected as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Yancha Packaging won the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
