Shan Yi
Shan Yi is a brand identity designed for a smart technology company serving agriculture. The logo uses a shield shape as a visual frame to suggest protection and durability. Inside the shield, the letters S and Y are staggered and linked, referring to the brand name and to the link between smart technology and farming. Patterns of wheel ruts and wheat ears are also included, recalling the autumn harvest. The strokes are of equal width and the logo follows the golden ratio. The mark can be printed, sewn or injection molded in various sizes, including use as a vehicle emblem.
Shan Yi Brand Design by sxdesign has been recognized as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shan Yi Brand Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which celebrates exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
