The Zlin Region
The Zlin Region is a brand and visual identity created for a region in the Czech Republic. The identity is based on a square, and the four corners represent the four historical districts of the region. The square frames the design and also marks where change happens, as forms and letters break out beyond its edges. The colours are black, white, dark yellow and light yellow, and yellow refers to the traditional colour of Zlin. The identity expresses the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of the region and its people.
The Zlin Region Brand and Visual Identity by Little Greta has been featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Zlin Region Brand and Visual Identity received the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
