Lay's Love
Lay's Love is a packaging design created for two limited edition snack flavors in India, Lay's Herby Crush and Lay's Cheesy Love. Each pack shows a hand held in a half heart shape, so two packs placed side by side complete the heart and pair the two flavors. A bold script in the center of the bag names the flavor. Behind each hand illustration are silhouettes of couples walking on a beach, palm trees and soft clouds. The colorful design was made to mark friendship and love among young consumers.
Lay's Love Packaging by PepsiCo Design and Innovation has been recognized as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lay's Love Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
