Chuankui
Chuankui is a packaging design for liquor, inspired by the culture of Sichuan, China. The name means Sichuan leader. A panda illustration formed from green bamboo leaves covers the bottle and recalls the mountains and bamboo forests of the region. A hollow panda paw shape is placed on another part of the bottle, so the package is easy to hold. The cap takes the form of a bamboo knot with carved bamboo leaves. The packaging is made of degradable materials, which supports the ecological intent of the design.
Chuankui Liquor Packaging by Sungoo Design was recognized as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Chuankui Liquor Packaging was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that rewards exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
