Sanvinga Xiaofengtan Liquor
Xiaofengtan is packaging for a high-end Chinese liquor. The bottle shape is derived from the ceramic jars traditionally used in China to store liquor, reshaped in a simple form suited to modern taste. The rounded body fits the palm of the hand, which makes the bottle easy to hold and helps prevent slipping. The golden cap has vertical corrugated lines and opens easily. Golden dots form a texture on both the bottle and the compact cube box, which measures 130 by 130 by 135 millimeters. The box is made of degradable paper, and the reduced size lowers material use.
Sanvinga Xiaofengtan Liquor Packaging by Zhu Hai was featured as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sanvinga Xiaofengtan Liquor Packaging won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
