The Wine Barrel Dilemma
A package that ends the dilemma of buying red or white wine. Wine enthusiasts are now able to enjoy both wines in one package, a design that features a handle and accommodates two barrels, each one with its own tap that enhances the wine tasting experience. The concept follows the wine out of the box design, which is the notion of moving wine from the big barrel to a smaller barrel so as to not lose its natural habitat.
The Wine Barrel Dilemma Packaging by Antonia Skaraki was selected as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. The Wine Barrel Dilemma Packaging received the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
