The Heaven Lost
The Heaven Lost is a packaging box designed for a scented candle. The graphic theme is inspired by European mythology and depicts gods searching for something lost from heaven. The hand drawn illustration continues across all sides of the box, giving an aged appearance and inviting customers to turn the box. Black and white printing keeps the design clean. The structure is a simple top and bottom box measuring 83 mm in width, 83 mm in depth and 102 mm in height. The box is made of 240gsm Munken Lynx, an uncoated sustainable paper in a natural white shade.
The Heaven Lost Packaging by YIU CHUNG CHAN has been recognized as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Heaven Lost Packaging was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
