Energy
Energy is a logo and brand identity created for a company that sells and distributes fuels for vehicles and industry in Paraguay. The symbol is built from a fraction of the letter e in the name Energy, arranged to form the blades of an engine propeller. The propeller suggests movement and links the brand to the automotive and industrial fields. The blade colors refer to the different types of fuel offered. The identity follows a minimal geometric style with high contrast. Horizontal and vertical versions are defined in a brand manual that sets out application rules.
Energy Logo and Brand Identity by Edgar Jara Asilvera was identified as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Energy Logo and Brand Identity was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that honors excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
