Bergtor
Bergtor is a visual identity designed for a garage door brand. The identity is based on a solid grid system and a minimalistic typographic approach. Geometric elements are added to the letters to visualize the meaning of the name. The letter E is replaced by three shapes inspired by the main lines of a garage door, forming a simple pictogram. The palette is a duotone of black and fresh green, and Gotham is the main typeface. The logo and the visual system are drawn in vector format, so they can be adapted to different sizes for digital and printed media.
Bergtor Visual Identity by Erika Baczó was featured as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bergtor Visual Identity received the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that honors exceptional design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
