Liu Fangling
Liu Fangling is a gift box packaging design for pickled radish. The outer box is illustrated with a scene of a mother and daughter planting radishes in the mountains, a story that links the product to the people who make it. The inner box is shaped like a radish, recalling the moment a radish is pulled from the ground. The outer packaging is made of paper, so it can be recycled and degrades naturally. Each portion is sealed in a light aluminium foil container that is hygienic and easy to carry. After use, the radish shaped box can hold small items.
Liu Fangling Pickled Radish by Pufine Creative was recognized as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Liu Fangling Pickled Radish was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
