Lazarus Effekt Campaign Illustrations

Lazarus Effekt

Lazarus Effekt is a set of campaign illustrations created for a cross-media awareness campaign about the Lazarus effect. The Lazarus effect, a term coined by paleontologist David Jablonski, describes the rediscovery of a life form once considered lost or extinct. The illustrations show plants and animals that have been found again. Each figure is drawn as a black and white vector graphic and is rich in detail, so viewers can discover more with a longer look. The large prints act as a visual key that links posters, flyers, banners and information graphics.

Lazarus Effekt Campaign Illustrations by Lara Wilkin has been featured as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Lazarus Effekt Campaign Illustrations earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
