Nirvana
Nirvana is a corporate identity created for a space for meditation and holistic therapies. The design is based on simple geometric shapes arranged on a grid system to keep symmetry and balance. The logo combines the infinity symbol, the lotus flower and a meditative posture. The wine red colour refers to Buddhist garments, and the yellow colour refers to the ornaments used in monasteries. The identity was drawn as vector artwork, so the logo can be reduced or enlarged without loss of detail and applied to print and digital media.
Nirvana Corporate Identity by Viana Patricio Barbosa Neto was featured as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Nirvana Corporate Identity received the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that recognizes outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
