The motto "back to the roots" is currently conquering the food industry. Ancient root vegetables, which include horseradish, are currently very popular. To revive the brand in shelves, Wolkendieb relaunched the Koch's brand identity and packaging portfolio. The logo was modernised to become bolder and more visible. The new design focuses on depicting the unprocessed natural ingredients and the clean recipes without additives or conservatives. Fresh from the field straight to the consumer: directly, simply and lovingly prepared!

Iguana

Iguana is a packaging design for an energy drink sold in aluminum cans. The can surface imitates the skin of an iguana, with a scale texture and scratch marks that suggest strength and energy. Silver paper with black ink gives the package a low sparkle that suggests advanced technology. The draw-out box holds two layers, so the headphone and its wires are seen first and the accessories rest below.

Codice

Codice is a packaging design for a wine bottle, inspired by medieval codices. Codices were handwritten books made before the invention of the printing press, in which the capital letters became works of art. The label is produced on paper with reliefs and stamping and is applied to a Bordeaux bottle. A sheet of sealed vegetal paper wraps the bottle and carries illustrations of the symbols of the winery. The paper is closed with sealing wax at the top, so the content is revealed only when the wrapper is opened.
